Kids on Canvas K-5th
Grab a paintbrush and jump right in for a colorful Kids on Canvas adventure! Students will use acrylic and tempera paint to explore painting on a variety of canvas materials! We use our imaginations and the inspiration from a different artist and/or style to create new piece of artwork each week!
Science Fun & Games with KidScientific 1st-5th
Join us as we transform complex scientific concepts into thrilling games and activities. Brace yourself as you create your very own roller coaster using straws. Race against your friends with engineered race cars powered by balloons. Dive into a world of hands-on experiments that will turn learning into pure play. Get ready to unleash your creativity and critical thinking skills in a dynamic environment.
Groovy Guitar K-5th
Students will participate in a music group. Students will learn about the instrument as well as how to play in a music group. FREE Rental instrument and curriculum included! Instruments and music are intended for in class AND at home practice. Rental Instrument must be returned at the last class.
Hip Hop All Stars K-5th
Our ADF hip hop dancers will learn the latest street dancing technique, performance skills and confidence. Hip Hop is an ever-evolving style performed to current hip hop music.
The Adrenaline Dance Force classes offer the ability to improve hip hop style, increase memory and improve balance by staying grounded and strong through upper and lower body movement. Adrenaline’s experienced staff brings excitement to this class with the latest hip hop moves and age-appropriate music!
Chess K-5th
Learn chess with Magnus Academy (formerly Silver Knights), world champion Magnus Carlsen’s academy! We’ve taught 100,000 children to play including state and national champions, but most students are beginners looking to learn a new skill and have FUN. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games. Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies.
Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments (in-person and online) outside of club time. This in-person club includes free online extras including weekly practice tournaments and an event with world champion Magnus Carlsen or Judit Polgar, the best female chess player of all time. LEGO® SPIKE™ Essential Robotics K-5th
Get ready for a fun, hands-on experience with Lego SPIKE Robotics! In this course, children will have the chance to unleash their creativity and bring their STEAM ideas to life through hands-on projects using everyday themes. By combining the use of Lego bricks, a multi-port Hub, and programming with Scratch, children of all learning levels will have the opportunity to build and code their very own robots. With the use of the latest codable hubs, cameras, motion sensors, tilting sensors, poles and axles, children will be able to create robots that dance, mimic, follow routes, and even drive themselves. Each lesson will focus on building a robot that serves a practical purpose in daily life, while also developing crucial skills such as literacy, math, and coding skills.
Junior Master Chefs (Wednesday) K-5th
Baroody Camps, Inc. is excited to partner with John Feist this session providing you with fun culinary arts classes! With his experience and passion in culinary arts, nutrition, apprenticeship in Switzerland, and love for gardening, John will teach your child to cook like a Junior Master Chef. This year JMC will be cooking foods from Bulgaria, Turkey and Greece. Bulgaria is a country in southeast Europe. It is bordered by Romania, the Black Sea, Serbia and North Macedonia. Many of Bulgaria’s important Culinary influences come from Greece and Turkey. Chef John is excited to teach this cuisine and looks forward to seeing you soon!
